We offer two LAKE EXPERIENCES - 1/ Lake Lure Private Dock - offsite from house, but a quick 3 min. drive or 15 min walk (note, no sidewalk). Boat/kayak rentals can be delivered to the dock for day-use (ask about multi-day rentals). 2/ Private Community Lakes - 8 min. drive. Two quiet lakes with a sandy beach, picnic pavilion, grills, calm waters for paddling, and even a short trail leading to a small waterfall.
